Sport at the College
Presently, the College is quickly fostering a genuine House spirit amongst the student body. There are four Houses within the College: Burton, Browning, Hill and Roxburgh all named in honour of some of the significant individuals who helped to develop the College from its’ humble beginnings.
The College sporting calendar is punctuated by the swimming, cross country and athletics carnivals, all major House competitions. The College is part of the South Coast Anglican Sporting Association and has consistently taken part in the team sports competitions including football, SASSA touch football, surfing and netball.
To further develop the College’s participation in all of these events, a new sports program has been designed to fully prepare our representative teams whilst giving all students an opportunity to develop individual and team ties with their respective Houses. The sports program also provides opportunity to choose and select a wide range of leisure activities such as surfing, gymnastics and tennis to nurture the overall enjoyment of physical activity and fitness.
The College has already proven to be a terrific breeding ground for some of the top sportspeople within the Eurobodalla region and all indicators suggest that there are many individuals ready to write the next chapter in the school’s youthful, but proud sporting history.
