Representative Sport Pathways

St Peter’s Anglican College offers a robust sports calendar which is closely tied to the Southern Anglican Schools Sports Association (SASSA) program. Students can represent St Peter’s Anglican College in a variety of sports at a regional level and vie for selection in the Association of Independent and Co-Educational Schools (AICES) squads who compete at the Combined Independent Schools (CIS) Championships.  Primary school students progress directly from SASSA to CIS events.

There are several opportunities for individual athletes to progress through CIS Pathways to higher representative levels in their chosen sports in sports which are not offered by the College. The NSW Combined Independent Schools Sports Council, known as CIS, aims to provide a pathway to state and national level competition in a wide variety of sports for students in the independent sector.

Should you feel that your child has the capabilities in their chosen sport at this level, students need to follow a specific nomination process through the school. This process will be completed on the CIS website and further information will be provided to students regarding the selection process. Please keep in mind this is an elite sports program and students who nominate will be competing against other students who have represented that sport at a local, state and national level.

The CIS website (click here for CIS website) and AICES website for Senior School Students (click here for AICES website) will provide students and their parents a comprehensive list of sporting opportunities, events and nomination due dates for each individual sport.

If you wish to nominate your child for a CIS pathway, please email Luke Adams at l.adams@stpetersbroulee.nsw.edu.au and the school can begin the online nomination process on the CIS website. Please note that different sports have specific nomination dates and no late nominations will be excepted.
